Experience the Very Best of Maine
Situated on 26 acres of private land on West Quoddy Head—the easternmost private property in the continental United States—and bordering West Quoddy Head State Park, Quoddy House is an historic circa-1835 Cape in a breathtaking, very special corner of the world. A separate rental unit, HighTide, is a small modernist structure nestled in the woods on the eastern side of the property. Both units provide privacy and quiet, surrounded by wildlife and unspoiled nature. They share a private beach with spectacular views of Campobello Island and the Bay of Fundy. There are abundant nearby hiking trails. It is an easy walk to the iconic West Quoddy Head Lighthouse and the State Park, and only a short drive to the village of Lubec (home of renowned music program SummerKeys).
At both Quoddy House and HighTide, you will be struck by the beauty of Maine’s natural vistas. Quoddy House offers the authenticity of a house built nearly two centuries ago (modestly and respectfully renovated, of course). HighTide offers the opportunity to live close to the tree tops, surrounded by soaring eagles and unspoiled nature. There is easy access to a multitude of local activities, and either Quoddy House or HighTide make a perfect home base as you venture further to experience Maine’s Bold Coast. In short, here, you can enjoy the very best Maine has to offer.
