A short walk from Quoddy House, the iconic easternmost point of land in the U.S.
WEST QUODDY HEAD STATE PARK
On the trail to Green Point. The park is an easy walk from Quoddy House and has several spectacular hiking trails with views out over the Bay of Fundy, toward Campobello Island, or to the North over South Lubec Bay.
THE COAST GUARD TRAIL
Also at West Quoddy Head State Park, an easy walk from Quoddy House, you will find a well groomed trail into the woods of Quoddy Head. An easy and fun walk for all!
CARRYING PLACE COVE
A wonderful beach with easy access from West Quoddy Head State Park, just off South Lubec Road. Lots of fun for the kiddos!

Enjoy the village! Don’t miss Mulholland Market, where you can see displays of local art, and the Sunrise Cafe, good for a cup of Jo and some friendly conversations!

BAY OF FUNDY INTERNATIONAL MARATHON
Lubec hosts the annual Bay of Fundy International Marathon which brings in runners from all over the U.S. and Canada for a fun filled event. The marathon begins on West Quoddy Head, just a stone’s throw from Quoddy House, and takes the pack of dedicated contestants across the U.S.-Canada border twice!

Bring your side-by-side! >90 miles of old railroad right-of-way, Ellsworth to Perry, easy access in Machias or Dennysville. Wonderful way to see the Maine woods!
EAST QUODDY HEAD LIGHTHOUSE
Bring your passport so you don’t miss it! On the eastern tip of Campobello Island, New Brunswick (CANADA), with great views out onto the Bay of Fundy. Not at all unusual to see whales out on the water! Walk out to the lighthouse, but don’t get caught out there when the tide comes in!
